1/85 PUBLIC LISTING BOOM - Over-the-Counter Market

It is now expected that there will be a boom in public listings of medium sized corporations on the stock exchanges and the over-the-counter market from 1985 to 1987 when around 200 companies are expected to go public, centering on high technology dealing in such areas as electronics and fine ceramics. For the last few years companies going public have been limited to about 35 on the average. This rapid increase is due to the new stock market listing standards initiated from November, 1983.
