Article 72 Any person who comes under any one of the following Items shall be liable to penal servitude not exceeding six (6) months, or a fine not exceeding two hundred thousand (200,000) yen:

(1) A person who relinquished his foreign exchange business or money exchange business, or changing its name or locations where it conducts such business, but by giving no notice or a false notice in contravention of Article 10, Paragraph 4 (including where it applies mutatis mutandis in Article 14, Paragraph 2);

(2) A person who concluded any arrangement defined by Article 11 without obtaining approval thereunder;

(3) A person who carried out any transaction in contravention of Article 12 (including where it applies mutatis mutandis in Article 14, Paragraph 2);

(4) A person who failed to submit a report or submitted a false report in contravention of Article 15;

(5) A person who carried out any capital transaction but giving no notice or a false notice in contravention of Article 22, Paragraph 1 (excluding a person who falls under Article 70, Item (13));

(6) A person who carried out any capital transaction by giving no notice or a false notice in contravention of Article 24, Paragraph 2 (excluding a person who falls under Article 70, Item (18));

(7) A person who failed to submit a report or submitted a false report in contravention of Article 26, Paragraph 3 (including those regarded as foreign investors based on the provisions of Article 27-2)

(8) A person who failed to submit a report or submitted a false report in contravention of Article 29.

(9) A person who failed to produce sufficient attestation or produced false attestation in contravention of an Order based on Article 49;

(10) A person who submitted no report or a false report in contravention of an Order based on Article 67;

(11) A person who refused, obstructed, or evaded, the inspection provided by Article 68, Paragraph 1; and

(12) A person who made no response or false response to the interrogation provided by Article 68, Paragraph 1.
