CHAPTER IX PENAL PROVISIONS

Article 69-6 Any person who comes under any one of the following Items shall be liable to penal servitude not exceeding five (5) years, or a fine not exceeding two million (2,000,000) yen, or both. However, when five-times the amount of the subject matter of contravention exceeds two million (2,000,000) yen, a fine shall be up to five times the amount:

(1) A party who, without obtaining the license based on the provisions of Article 25, Paragraph 1, carried out the transaction provided for in the Order based on the provisions of the same Paragraph.

(2) A party who, without obtaining the license based on the provisions of Article 48, Paragraph 1, has exported goods provided for in the provisions of the Order based on the provisions of the same Paragraph.

2. Those attempting to carry out the prohibited acts of the previous Paragraph, item (2) shall also be punished.
