Article 69 (Partial delegation of duties)
The competent Minister may, as provided by Cabinet Order, entrust the Bank of Japan and/or authorized foreign exchange banks with a part of the administrative duties concerning the enforcement of this Law.
2. When such administrative procedures are partially entrusted to the Bank of Japan under the provisions of the preceding Paragraph, expenses incurred thereby may be borne by the Bank of Japan.
3. In the case mentioned in Paragraph 1, the staff members of the Bank of Japan and/or authorized foreign exchange banks who handle such administrative procedures shall be deemed as public officials lawfully engaging in public service in regard to the application of the penal provisions of the Criminal Law (Law No. 45 of 1907) and others.
