Article 18 (Export and import of means of payments, etc.)

The Minister of Finance can, when deemed necessary for the effective enforcement of the provisions of this Law or any Order enacted thereunder, obligate, as provided by Cabinet Order, that any resident or non-resident who is to export or import any means of payment, or securities to obtain a license therefor.

2. The Minister of Finance can, when deemed necessary for the effective enforcement of the provisions of this Law or any Order enacted thereunder, or deemed specifically necessary for the maintenance of the equilibrium of our country's balance of international payments, or the stability of our currency, obligate, as provided by Cabinet Order, any resident or non-resident who is to export or import any precious metal, to obtain a license therefor.
