Article 12 (Duty of the authorized foreign exchange banks to ascertain the lawfulness of transactions)

The authorized foreign exchange banks shall not conduct with a customer any business governed by this Law unless they have ascertained that either the customer possesses the required approval, etc., for the proposed transaction, or that the transaction does not require such approval, etc.
