Article 5 (Scope of Application)

This Law shall also be applicable to any act performed by any representative, agent, employee, or other operator of any juridical person having its main office in Japan, concerning property or business of such a juridical person which is located overseas. It shall similarly be applicable to any act performed by any natural person having his place of domicile in Japan, or his agent, employee, or other personnel in regard to the property or business of such a natural person which is located overseas.
