CHAPTER IV MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS
Article 7 (Minister having Jurisdiction over the Relevant Industry)
The Minister having jurisdiction over the relevant industry in the Law and this Cabinet Order shall be the Minister as designated in each of the following items, corresponding to the field of the matters listed in each of the said items:
(1) Matters related to the acquisition or transfer of stock or equity interest in a company (including corporations established based on special statutes; hereinafter in this item, the same) or matters related to substantial changes in the business objectives of the company - The Minister having jurisdiction over the business operations of the said company;
(2) Matters related to the establishment of a branch, etc., in Japan or matters related to a substantial change in the type of branch, etc., or in the business objectives of the branch, etc., in Japan - The Minister having jurisdiction over the business operated by the said branch, etc.;
(3) Matters related to the lending of money to a corporation which has its main office in Japan - The Minister having jurisdiction over the business operated by the said corporation;
(4) Matters related to the conclusion of agreements for the importation of technologies, etc. - The Minister having jurisdiction over the business field into which the technology related to the said conclusion of agreements for the importation of technologies, etc. will be introduced;
(5) Matters related to the acquisition of debentures which a company issues - The Minister with jurisdiction over the business operated by the said company.
