Article 25 (On Location Examinations)
The Minister of Finance, when he deems it necessary in order to secure the healthy and suitable operations of the business of the bank, can have his employees enter into the places of business (including representative offices) and other facilities of the bank, ask questions concerning the condition of such business or assets and examine the bank's books and other matters.
2. The Minister of Finance, in those situations where there is such entry, questioning or examination, based on the provisions of the previous Paragraph, and where he deems it particularly necessary, to the extent thus necessary, can have his employees enter into the facilities of the subsidiaries (meaning the subsidiaries provided for in Article 4. In Paragraph 5, the same.) of banks, ask questions concerning matters necessary for the examination or questioning of the bank and examine the books, documents or other matters.
3. In the cases of the previous two Paragraphs, the said employees shall bring indentificaiton documents and when demanded by related parties, display such.
4. The rights based on the provisions of Paragraph 1and Paragraph 2, shall not be interpreted as matters approved for criminal investigations.
5. The provisions of Paragraph 3 of the previous Article shall apply mutatis mutandis concerning the questioning or examination of the subsidiary of a bank based on the provisions of Paragraph 2.
