Article 8 (Establishment, etc. of Places of Business)

When a bank is going to establish a branch or other place of business or change their location (including changes in the location of head offices) or alter the variety thereof, or discontinue such, excluding those situations provided for by Ministry of Finance Ordinance, the approval of the Minister of Finance must be received, in accordance with Ministry of Finance Ordinance. The same shall be the case as well when there is going to be change of location of or the discontinuance of a representative office.
