Article 5 (Amount of Paid-in-capital)

1. Banks must be corporations with paid-in-capital of an amount equal to or above an amount as set by Cabinet Order.

2. The amount determined by Cabinet Order of the previous Paragraph, shall not be less than 1 billion yen.

3. When banks are going to reduce the amount of that paid-in-capital, they must receive the approval of the Minister of Finance.
